<p>Easter in Asamankese this year was more than just a religious celebration — it was a revival of spirit, community, and compassion, all powered by the Me Boafo Foundation. Under the leadership of Dr. Emmanuel Obiri Addo (Founder of Me Boafo Foundation), the Foundation rolled out a five-fold outreach program that touched hundreds of lives in rural villages and urban spaces alike.</p>

<p>In the spirit of compassion, the Me Boafo Foundation began its Easter outreach by extending relief to three underserved villages: Esaase, Odum Ahama, and Ammarko. Families received essential food items and household supplies — a gesture that brought dignity and warmth to homes often overlooked. For many residents, it was the first time an NGO had reached their doorsteps with such kindness.</p>

<p>On Holy Saturday, the town of Asamankese came alive with a health walk led by local dignitaries, youth groups, and residents. The walk was followed by a free health screening, where medical professionals screened individuals for blood pressure, sugar levels, and other vitals. The message was clear: true celebration starts with wellness.</p>

<p>That same evening, the town center echoed with the soulful sounds of highlife and gospel as a live band took center stage. It wasn’t just music — it was a cultural experience. Elders danced alongside the youth, celebrating not just Easter, but unity, peace, and the joy of shared identity.</p>

<li>A Night of Stars – Artist Night Celebration</li>

<p>Asamankese then lit up again with a vibrant Artist Night, drawing crowds from across the region. Local talents and guest performers brought energy, inspiration, and entertainment to the stage — proving that rural towns can host urban-standard events when purpose meets passion.</p>

<p>Capping the Easter festivities was the Me Boafo Kids Fun Fair — a day packed with games, educational activities, face painting, bouncy castles, and story time. Children from all backgrounds participated freely, their laughter echoing the core mission of the Foundation: empowering the future by uplifting the young.</p>



<p>“This year’s Easter outreach was about touching lives, not just marking a date. Every event was designed to heal, celebrate, and inspire,” said Dr. Emmanuel Obiri Addo, Executive Director of the Me Boafo Foundation. “Asamankese and its surrounding villages deserve more. We are committed to being that ‘more’.”</p>



<p>Adding his voice, Dr Maxwell Okpoti Mensah(Co-Founder of Me Boafo Foundation), expressed deep satisfaction with the outcome:</p>



<p>“What we witnessed was community transformation at its core. From remote villages to town centers, the joy was tangible. This proves that when we invest in people — their health, joy, and well-being — we build stronger, more united communities.”</p>



<p>From the dusty paths of remote villages to the cheerful screams on the playground, Me Boafo Foundation turned Easter 2025 into a living testimony of hope, health, and humanity — a season not just remembered, but felt.</p>
