<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Josephine Worlali Adatsi, a young Ghanaian communications professional and advocate, is making her mark through student leadership, women’s empowerment, youth development and climate action.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A first-class graduate of Pentecost University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, Adatsi has built more than five years of experience in student leadership, activism, volunteerism and advocacy.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her work focuses on promoting inclusion and creating opportunities for young people and women, while also advocating for underprivileged communities and the protection of children.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adatsi is a member of the Gender Working Group of the All-Africa Students Union (AASU) and serves as a Communications Manager intern with Students Organizing for Sustainability International (SOS International).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She is also the Head of the Gender Working Group at AliceTalkWorld, a non-governmental organisation focused on connecting students to opportunities in corporate development, entrepreneurship, leadership, climate action and women’s empowerment.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her leadership experience includes serving as Public Relations Officer of the Pentecost University Students’ Representative Council (SRC) for the 2022/2023 academic year. She later contested for the SRC presidency for the 2023/2024 academic year.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adatsi has also contributed to student advocacy through roles with the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) and the Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS), where she served on the International Relations Committee and as Research Head respectively.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Beyond student leadership, she has gained professional experience through an internship with the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) and work at the Quality Assurance Unit of Pentecost University.<br></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She was recently among the speakers at the African Digital Summit, which brought together more than 25,000 participants from six African countries.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At the summit, Adatsi spoke on the topic <strong>“Women, Leadership and Personal Branding,”</strong> highlighting issues surrounding women’s participation in leadership and the importance of building strong personal identities.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her growing involvement in sustainability has also strengthened her commitment to climate advocacy, particularly in encouraging young people to take an active role in addressing environmental challenges.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adatsi is currently a beneficiary of the More Women Leading (MWL) Mentorship Programme by the Eve International Foundation, further supporting her development as a young female leader.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With her background in communication, leadership and advocacy, Josephine Adatsi continues to position herself as a voice for youth and women while promoting inclusion and sustainable development.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She maintains that continuous learning and purposeful action are essential to creating meaningful change and contributing to a better society.</p>
