<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ghanaian trade and development professional Esinam Afi Seade Agbi has reflected on her journey from beauty queen to influential leader, saying her experiences in public speaking, student leadership and international trade have shaped her sense of purpose.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Esinam first gained national attention after being crowned Miss ECOWAS Ghana in 2013, a platform that later saw her serve as a Youth Peace Ambassador for the West African subregion.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her leadership journey continued in 2016 when she became President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) at the University of Ghana, representing more than 40,000 students.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With academic training in Psychology, English, International Affairs and Diplomacy, Esinam has built a career spanning leadership, advocacy, trade and business development.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She has also received professional training from the African Institute for Economic Development and Planning (IDEP) under the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the University of Koblenz in Germany.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In her professional career, Esinam works as a Project Manager with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana, where she facilitates engagements between governments and businesses and supports strategic transactions across sectors including technology, renewable energy, agriculture and industrial development.<br></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">She has more than eight years of experience in international trade and development advisory, while also supporting Ghana’s startup ecosystem and helping international businesses explore opportunities within the Ghanaian market.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Beyond her corporate work, Esinam is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Essydel Events. She also leads Bespoke by Essydel, a home interior and decor brand, and manages The String Quartet, a classical music ensemble in Ghana.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her commitment to youth and women empowerment has also remained a major part of her work. She has mentored young people across Ghana and participated in initiatives focused on women&#8217;s leadership, youth development and social transformation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Esinam’s achievements have earned her recognition among Ghana’s influential women, including a place on Womanrising.org’s 100 Most Influential Women in Ghana list in 2016 and recognition among Ghana’s 40 under 40.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For Esinam, public speaking and leadership are not simply about visibility but about using personal experiences to inspire, mentor and create opportunities for others.<br></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Her journey, which began with a beauty crown, has evolved into a broader mission focused on leadership, African trade, business development and empowering the next generation.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As she continues to expand her work beyond Ghana, Esinam Seade Agbi is positioning herself as a voice in Africa’s leadership, trade and youth development conversations.</p>
