8 out of 10 school children in rural Jamaica & Ghana cannot take their classes online because they can neither afford a laptop nor purchase a monthly internet data of £10 or it’s Cedi equivalent.
In as much as it is very easy for school children in Europe and other developed countries to take classes online during the lockdown, it has not been the case for most of these deprived school children in Rural Jamaica and Ghana.
To solve this issue and give disadvantaged school children access to quality education even when they are not in the best position to fund, IBRIE Foundation has launched a £1 Donation Challenge to give everyone the opportunity to be a part of providing quality education for disadvantaged school children in various rural areas, no matter how little they can donate.
The Foundation believes that, we can all change the world no matter how little or big it takes.
So, here’s how you can participate:
• Click the link https://ibrie.org/1-challenge/
• Enter your contribution of £1
• Fill in your details and pay with PayPal or your credit/debit card
• Tell another person to do same (we believe in the power of networks)
Please spread the news to reach more people. We can change the world for good, no matter how little it takes.
