The annual African Pitch Roadshow organized by the Impact Global Network as an ambassador of Africa’s biggest accelerator, Hub Africa (Morocco) is back again this year with more opportunities for entrepreneurs and startups on the 29th of February 2020.
Last year’s edition was extremely competitive with entrepreneurs from different industries pitching their projects to be one of the 3 winners to be fully funded for the Hub Africa conference in Casablanca, Morocco. This year, the theme for the 2-day conference Hub Africa conference in Morocco scheduled for the 10th and 11th of June 2020 is
“Continental Free Trade Zone, Accelerating the Development of African Businesses”
The mission of African Pitch Roadshow which is taking place in over 12 other countries is to identify and select the most promising startups on the continent. The roadshow competition offers project leaders, start uppers and young entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their business projects to a jury of business leaders.
The Executive Director of Impact Global Network, Mr. Daniel Sarpong Jnr who also happens to be a Sales Coach popularly known as “Africa’s Greatest Sales Coach” stated that “this roadshow is a golden opportunity for entrepreneurs across Africa and I hope anyone with a great project will take advantage of this life-changing opportunity”
He continued that “the top 3 winners of this competition will fully be funded to join other winners from diverse countries to take part in HUB AFRICA, a platform of investors and entrepreneurs planned each year in Casablanca, Morocco”
The top 3 winners from Ghana who will be fully funded to Casablanca, Morocco to join many other winners from different countries and together, they will benefit from a one-week bootcamp to help develop their projects. At the end of this bootcamp, the best 20 participants will benefit from: 1. An acceleration program in Casablanca with our partner HSeven2. Accommodation and catering costs ranging from 6 to 12 months at the Casablanca University Campus3. The provision of an incubator or accelerator4. Eligibility of funding of up to $150,000
At the end of this acceleration, the 5 best projects will benefit from a Pitch Elevator allowing them to get financing of up to $3,000,000
Also, the 10 best will win an acceleration program 5 winners will be at the EM LYON Business School Campus in New Delhi in India and the other 5 winners at the EM LYON Business School Campus in Shanghai, China.
Held annually since 2012, the Hub Africa forum offers a multifunctional and multidimensional platform for discussion between business leaders, entrepreneurs,and investors from Africa, Europe and across the world
The pan African forum which has earned the status as the meeting place for startups in particular, has gathered about 8000 participants during the previous edition, according to Alioune Gueye(CEO of Hub Africa and CEO of Africa Challenge Group.
