Austin, founder of Two-Footed Solutions, is building an international network designed to connect entrepreneurs with local experts and create opportunities for businesses across different markets.
Two-Footed Solutions brings together entrepreneurs from around the world with the aim of driving socio-economic development at the grassroots level. Rather than attempting to manage areas outside its expertise, the company partners with local specialists who can lead projects and operate as entrepreneurs in their respective markets.
According to Austin, the company currently operates across three continents, creating opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs while leveraging local expertise to address market-specific needs.
His entrepreneurial journey has also been shaped by personal experiences. One of his projects was inspired by an experience in Malawi, where he initially believed he had contracted malaria but later discovered he was suffering from severe dehydration.
The experience prompted Austin to research malaria and the role of female Anopheles mosquitoes. He subsequently spent three years researching a potential solution, demonstrating the persistence that has become central to his entrepreneurial journey.
Austin acknowledges that building his businesses has required significant personal sacrifices, particularly the time spent away from his wife and family. Despite these challenges, he remains motivated by the potential global impact of Two-Footed Solutions and its mission to create opportunities for entrepreneurs.
He identifies perseverance and gratitude as two of the biggest lessons he has learned through entrepreneurship.
For Austin, entrepreneurs must continue making the right decisions, positioning themselves to take advantage of opportunities and refusing to give up when they encounter rejection.
His experience with Two-Footed Solutions highlights the importance of combining global networks with local expertise to create sustainable opportunities for entrepreneurs and small businesses across different markets.
