Philit Company Limited is promoting innovation and quality in Ghana’s agricultural sector through the importation, distribution and marketing of agricultural inputs.
The company, founded by agriculturist Philip Antemdi, was established in 2012 and formally registered with the Registrar General’s Department in October 2018.
Philit Company Limited says its objective is to contribute to the development of Ghana’s agricultural sector by providing farmers with high-quality agricultural chemicals and fertilisers sourced from different parts of the world.
Its product portfolio includes insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, weedicides, antibiotics, as well as solid and liquid fertilisers.
According to the company, its operations are supported by a team of professionals with experience in the importation, distribution and marketing of agricultural farm inputs.
Beyond supplying agricultural products, Philit also provides technical support to farmers, distributors, dealers, government agencies and other stakeholders within the agricultural value chain.
The company’s agricultural extension officers are trained in agrochemical analysis and research and assist farmers in adopting good agricultural practices, particularly in the proper application of agricultural chemicals.

The company also places emphasis on sourcing safer and environmentally friendly agricultural chemicals and fertilisers to help protect farmers and the environment.
